Still learning how to blog . . .

Hello, it's Sunday. I am still learning how to blog and really haven't advertised much that I have a blog. I have enjoyed the past few days being off from work - I had meant to work Medical Crew for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, but did not get signed up in time, didn't book a hotel room, and really wasn't too thrilled about getting up at 3 am Sat. morning to drive to Santa Barbara.  It was so much easier when it was in Long Beach. I hope they bring it back to Long Beach next year as I do miss the community service and taking care of the dehydrated, blistered ladies.  They have a huge minimum to raise and donate so it is the least I can do to help them with their owies.

Upcoming Workshops!

I LOVE to share my hobby of scrapbooking, card making, and paper crafting. Close to My Heart is an awesome company and has some of the best products on the market. One of my next workshops will be a card workshop.  You'll make six cards for $10.00. All supplies will be provided.

Class will be on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 7:00 PM.  I will also offer this again on Sunday, September 26th at 3:00 PM. (Registration and payment due by Monday, Sept. 20th).

I do hold a monthly Workshop On The Go (WOTG) class.  Cost is $29.95 (plus s/h, tax). These are usually  held on a Wednesday evening - 6:30 - 9:30 (but the September date has not been set yet - probably 9/22 or 9/29). You are welcome to join us.  The kit for September will be Magnifique. Let me know ASAP if you are interested so that we can order your kit (or you can order on line at my above website!).

Day 1 - Is there a quick and easy tutorial?

This is my first blog . . . duh! Now to figure it out. Not sure I'm thrilled with my blog title since it could read different ways - Nancy K News is what I mean, but Nancy Knews - what language is that?
So what shall I blog about? I will try to blog at least every two weeks and post new and exciting things happening with Close to My Heart! That will keep me busy alone - there is always something new with CTMH!  My direct link is http://www.nancyk.myctmh.com/ - you can shop 24/7! I will also update with family things too!
